Prepare for Your Shoot!

WalkMe Corporate Headshots

I’m looking forward to photographing you! Each session will last approximately 5 to 10 minutes and will take place against a light grey backdrop. A little preparation will help you feel confident and ensure your headshot looks polished, professional, and consistent with the rest of the WalkMe team.

What to Wear

Business casual attire is recommended. Choose clothing that feels professional, comfortable, and representative of how you would typically present yourself at work.

  • Wear medium to dark neutral colors, such as navy, black, charcoal, deep blue, or muted earth tones.

  • Avoid light grey, as it may blend into the backdrop.

  • Avoid neon shades, very bold colors, busy patterns, small checks, and narrow stripes, which can be distracting on camera.

  • Solid colors and subtle patterns generally photograph best.

  • Make sure your clothing is clean, pressed, and free of lint.

  • Jackets, blazers, sweaters, and other simple layers can add structure and visual interest.

  • Keep jewelry and accessories polished but relatively simple.

  • Please bring an alternate shirt, blouse, jacket, or accessory if you would like a backup option.

Hair, Makeup, and Grooming

Please arrive camera-ready, as sessions are brief and scheduled closely together.

  • Style your hair in a way that feels natural and familiar to you.

  • Bring a comb, brush, or any hair products you may need for quick adjustments.

  • If you wear makeup, bring powder, lipstick, concealer, or other products for touch-ups.

  • A light application of translucent powder can help reduce shine.

  • Check your teeth immediately before your session.

  • If you wear glasses, clean the lenses beforehand.

  • Shave or groom facial hair as desired before arriving.

Before Your Session

  • Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of your headshot.

  • Get a good night’s sleep whenever possible.

  • Eat beforehand so you feel comfortable and energized.

  • Avoid trying a dramatically different hairstyle, skincare treatment, or new makeup look immediately before the shoot.

  • Please arrive a few minutes early so you have time to make any final adjustments.

  • Remove your phone, keys, badge, and other bulky items from your pockets before stepping in front of the camera.

During Your Headshot

There is no need to practice posing. Kelly will guide you through posture, expression, and small adjustments throughout your session. You will have the opportunity to create a few different expressions so your final headshot feels confident, approachable, and authentic.

Most importantly, come as yourself. The goal is to create a polished portrait that still feels like you.
